@chrisbarlow01 The speed in each gear doesn't determine how "fast" the car is lol its gear ratio.

Eh 8K isnt too bad, probably floated a few valve but with a stock lift cam, even with valve float shouldn't be enough to cause damage. I went to 1st instead of 2nd once at 75mph in my Silverado lol pegged the tach and didnt sound good but nothing happened. Truck is still ripping up any car I have...

4L60e's came in 1500's. 4L80e's came in 1500 HD's and 2500 and 3500 trucks. I am in the process of putting a full manual 4l80e with a 4000 stall after frying two 4L60e's already.

Sounds like your converter locks really early. What converter do you have? Whats the WOT lockup rpm in 3rd? And what gears do you have?

Pretty big rpm change for being a stall converter. Is it a 12 inch or something?

@scotties350 at 50:1 your bottom end will hate you. You barely have any smoke. Ive always ran 32:1 in bikes and 40:1 in my karts since they get rebuilt so damn often anyways haha But badass sound need one of those motors for my kart.
