@Zoonjse non 'Z28's have no louvers of any kind. Neither do they have fender flares or hood scoop unless ordered by the customer. Nor do they have the z28 handling package unless ordered by the customer. ETC. ETC.

However these things can be added to camaros and are quite available.

Sounds like you need a slighly looser torque converter by a couple hundred rpm or more...The cam is pulling through the brakes at idle....either that or your idle is too high and it doesn't sound like thats the case.
