Early July 2009, and the Japanese Emperor pays a visit to Ottawa. He arrived in not one, but two identical 747s, both of which were parked on the secondary apron. I was working night shift that week, and was able to photograph them in the late evening, and the early morning.

On one rainy morning, the Canadian Prime Ministers dark grey Airbus joined the twin 747s. I also shot the moon over the aircraft. You can see June bugs flying around the jet as the moon rises over the darkened cockpit. Unfortunately I was sleeping when the two departed.

Want to be a pilot for Air Canada as you do (im 13 now), preferably the 777-300ER, but all take anything. I live in Chatham, Ontario and like to go down to Lester B Pearson to watch the plans land too (just got back from flying Frankfurt-main - Pearson 2 days ago, it was a really nice flight.
