DEAD END

I was mayor of Amherst, Texas for 3 terms equaling 12 consecutive years.

Eventually becoming dean of Rice University in Texas for 5 years.

I pursued a career in the department of corrections and sheriffs department of Jefferson County, Colorado for a total of 19 years.

I was a judge in the Riverside Superior Courts for 9 years.

Some mistakes led me to serve a 7-year sentence in the Southwest Justice Center for battery assault and unlawful possession of a firearm (my gun permit was revoked). I would be serving life without parole, but was acquitted of murder charges.

My advice is learn all that you can and live your life without hesitation, for it is not meant to delve into regrets.
