I attended (and rode) at this year's 2011 Festival of 1000 bikes at Mallory and the guy who stood out from all of the sessions was Mick Grant on his Suzuki. If you believed the comic (MCN) Roberts was the man. He was not. It was Grant. Beautifully stylish and very, very fast.

A fabulous, balls to the wall, clean driver whose massive self belief got him to the top. A driver who gave everything he had and more and ENTERTAINED and that's what it's all about. Period. Oh, and possibly the only person to wrap his hands tightly around Senna's neck.

That's great. One of the best clips I've seen on youtube. Patrese always appeared as a complete gentleman when he was racing. A nice couple.
