Sorry folks, this one is not a prank. No one puts on a ape suit and runs in front of police cars late at night in the middle of nowhere. And yes these creature have been hit by cars. You won't come across a dead one, just as is the case with many other animals that hide themselves when they die...

The Who play My Generation but due to a broadcast technical hitch the whole song was not broadcast. Next line of song was " fade away " very apt.
