The movie that never was. Imagi's CGI "Gatchaman" was supposed to be released in 2011-2012 but was scrapped. Read somewhere that the movie was completed but written off as a loss. I hope it goes straight to DVD some time in the future, but it doesn't look likely. Waaah! :(

I question if his sarcoidosis was really in remission if he succumbed to pneumonia at age 50. Doesn't make sense. Then again who are we to question it? God Bless Mr. Bernie Mac; you are sorely missed.

I read somewhere that the movie didn't follow the author's vision. Could've been a great movie if the producers stuck to what occurred in the book. Still, everytime I know it's on TV, I always watch it. I just love the camp of it all and that gorgeous theme song by Dionne Warwick.
