@lowoxygen Price per watt seems to be twice of normal PV. Actually, but this can change. And you need a tracking system and can not exploit scattered light.

@wcemichael Why not have the car do it? Because you would need a heavy electrolyzer and a compressor in the car. Why not have these things in the house? Then, in the morning, you can connect the house-pressure-tank with the car-pressure-tank an fill it in a few minutes.

@Kona138 With an highly efficient electrolyzer, you get about 350 liters HHO gas from 1 kWh electricity. Using this HHO-Gas in an internal combustion engine, you get something between 100 and 200 Wh mechanical power back. 10 to 20 percent.

I was not accurate, I just counted back from the produced CO2, ignoring the H2O in the exhaust. 1700 ist correct, but not 1,700.
