Steely Dan did tons of collaberation with studio and stand in musicians with tons of different influence from jazz to funk to soul and gospel. Thats why the sound is so amazing.....a combo of different influences. Michael McDonald steals this track with his insanely good backup vocal.

Amazing. I know B&D collaberated a lot writing songs over the years, but man, how did they keep churning out these gut wrenching, honest, country songs. Im in awe. And this cover of RDR is beyond words. So damn good.

I caught this B&D tribute show yesterday on GAC. I was so glad I did. I thought this and Sugarlands performances were totally amazing. Im in awe of such talent. I know these big names use alot of technology, but talent is talent and RF has a ton of it.
