Bakithi Kumalo co-wrote "Masala" w/ guitarist Steve Khan and it appears on his 1998 CD, "SAN BONAN." It's a mix Latin Salsa with African elements. The superb percussion was performed by Marc Quiñones, and the incredible horn arrangement is by the great Bob Franceschini.
