What did you use to record this? The sound quality is really good.

Why does everybody have to be a Roth era or Van Hagar era hater? Am I the only one that loves just about everything VH put out no matter WHO sang? Very different sounds when they changed singers but still great music no matter who was in front of that band.

Very similar sound in both amps. I don't know how you had each amp dialed in, but the 6505 had a little more low end. I just played thru a 6505 1x12 combo and was blown away.

@nemtall About midway thru the Chickenfoot is what I heard. I read somewhere that he got upset with Peavey about not getting his 50 watt head out quick enough. The Marshall JVMs are great amps, my friend uses one. But I love my JSX. Had it for 6 years and it's still the best amp I've ever owned.

@Treggify Lol, yeah I don't use half the knobs on that thing but I've had mine for 6 years and I still love it. I run it with a carvin legacy cab with celestion vintage 30's.
