Da molte lune aspettavamo quest'alba.
Abbiamo scelto quella di siracusa perchè ci ha lasciato ricordi indelebili...abitavamo a 50 passi dal mare e tutte le notti eravamo spettatori di un mare incantato, e a lui dedichiamo il nostro brano.
La "casetta", il primo luogo che ha ospitato i SOTTOSOPRA69, era una costruzione abbandonata a se stessa ma affascinante e piena di magia.
Tra mille pazzie e tanta voglia di far emergere lo scoglio dall'acqua, scrivere brani a lume di candela, è stata veramente un esperienza interiore.
Siamo stati finalisti al "logos", concorso per scuole superiori; finalisti a "juke-box 2000"e finalisti nazionali "all'accademia della canzone di san remo 2000".
Nel frattempo durante i primi anni, la casetta fu acquistata da Luigi, il fratello di uno dei fondatori del gruppo ed essendo in ristrutturazione, i SOTTOSOPRA69 si trasferirono in una piccola stanza sulla terrazza di un ingrosso aziendale ai piedi del del castello della loro città.
Il co-compositore che ha accompagnato fin dai primi anni il gruppo è stato il mare di notte e insieme a lui hanno scritto brani arrivati in finale all' "I-TIM TOUR 2001"presentato da Red Ronnie.Nello stesso anno nuovamente in finale all' "accademia della canzone di sanremo 2001 e nel 2003 di nuovo finalisti all'edizione dell' "I-TIM TOUR".
dal 2004 fino a un paio di anni fa, i SOTTOSOPRA69 dal terreno fertile di genialità e innovazione, hanno scavato fino ad arrivare al buio dell'inconsapevolezza. Noi c'eravamo!!!
Da una sconfitta si è sempre tratto il beneficio dell' insegnamento e la voglia di rivincita per un fine comune come l'amore per la musica... Noi c'eravamo!!!
Quando la ruota girava nel senso giusto ed eravamo tutti uniti... Noi c'eravamo!!!
Quando abbiamo abbracciato oltre il nostro peso il peso di un fratello stringendo i denti fino a sorridere... Noi c'eravamo!!!
Dal buio dell'inconsapevolezza abbiamo riscavato per inseguire il bagliore della nostra stella...
Noi c'eravamo e oggi siamo qui a raccontarvi la nostra storia.

Biography
We were waiting for this moment for a long time.We chose Siracusa because it left us enduring memories.we lived near the sea and every night we were spectator of a fairy sea and we want to dedicate our song to it.
La casetta(small house)was the first place that has given hospitality to Sottosopra69:it was a derelict building but full of magic.
Through thousands foolish actions and the wish to emerge the stone from water,we wrote songs by candle-lightit was an incredible interior experience .
We were finalist at logos, a high schools competition;
We were finalist at at juke-box 2000 and national finalist at accademia della canzone di Sanremo 2000.
Before la casetta was bouhgt by Luigi,the brother of one of the creators of the group and as it was in renovation,sottosopra69 trasfer in a small room on the balcony of a corporate wholesale near the castle of their city.
Co-music maker that went with the group since the beginning has been the sea in the night and together they wrote pieces that were finalist at I-TIM TOUR 2001.
From the 2004 till 2007,Sottosopra69 have digged innovation and brillances ground till fall in the darkness of unawareness.
But by a defeat we always drew the teachings benefit and the feeling of a return match for a common aim:love for music.
We were here!!!

When we embraced beyond our weight,the weight of a brother and griting our teeth till smiling

From the darkness of unawareness we escavated again to follow our stars glow.
We were and we are here today to tell you our story.
