AMERICAN electronics ONLY: from late 1950s to the early 1970s: Zenith and RCA Victor television sets and clock-radios. Frigidaire, GE and Lady Kenmore appliances.
AMERICAN CARS from 1961 to 1973 especially the following:
Mercury Marquis 1969-72, Pontiac Grand Prix 1962-68, Pontiac GTO 1964-70. Buick Electra 225 1967-68 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight 1965-68, Oldsmobile Jetstar I 1964-1965, Cadillac DeVille 1963-68, Lincoln Continental 1961-73, Continental Mark III 1970-71, Mercury Colony Park 1962-70, Chrysler New Yorker 1969-71, Plymouth Fury 1969-73, Dodge Monaco 1969-73, Ford Mustang 1965-68, Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight 1971-72, Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado 1965-66 and 1967-70, Ford Country Squire 1962-1967.
AND I am a HUGE Scottish Terrier fan! My Scottie dogs are my best firends. Do you have a Scottie dog too?
I also collect original advertising and promo literature from HOWARD JOHNSON'S RESTAURANTS AND MOTOR LODGES - "Host of the Highways" - they were an American tradition of food and lodging along the highways and byways of the USA from 1925 to 1985 - until rival Marriott unfortunately bought them, ruined them and disbanded the Howard Johnson company. ALL Howard Johnson's fans are welcome!
I'm glad I grew up in the 1960s - it was a great era to be a kid in the suburbs, a truly fun and simpler time in the USA. And Americans manufactured appliances, electronics, furniture and cars right here in the USA which other Americans bought. It was a win-win situation for American jobs and for made in the USA quality. It was the greatest.
