One of my favorite quotes is " There will invariably be people who don't accept you...and in that case you must be your own badass self without apology." I live by that!!!!

Two of my passions have started late in life for me....first I learned to play the drums at 40...that is amazing...not saying that I am great but I truly love it. I am a huge Metallica fan and playing the drums to their songs is just the craziest feeling.
The second is Kenpo Karate....starting that at the age of 42 wasn't the smartest or easiest thing to do. Hard to believe that paying someone to pound on you can be so much fun. It is a truly amazing feeling knowing that I could defend myself if needed.
Never to late to try something new!!!!!
