Hey man! Today i was browsing ebay for anything and i found a bunch of RF amps i was amazed about that! I found a ton of Punch 250a2's 200S, 120.2, 60.2, 75.2, 400x4, 240.4, just to name a few that all need some kind of repair. I placed a bid on a 401S and a punch 200ix because they are all going for cheap but doubt i'll get anything. But wow never seen that many OS RF amps that needed repair for sale at once!

Yeah i mean thats the cheapest i found so far on the bay at the moment. I'm currently the highest bidder on both amps and my limit spending budget is $120 so hopefully it stay under that price. About my punch 55.2, i bought it two years ago on the bay for $12 shipped, not only is the driver transistors bad but the RCA input circuitry is blown like if someone hooked up power directly to the RCAs :( I wanted to use the output blocks for replacements they are the same size & same thing as the punch 800's. I could just solder some 4 gauge wire directly to the board would look old school but then again i could hide all that with the end caps i have. Hopefully the output drivers or anything else isn't bad because perry babin from diy said most RF amps in the 800a2 range mess up alot of other components when they fail :(. I'm bidding on this auction right here 180659744372. Look at the power connectors they are melted up but i do have a bad punch 55.2 that need new power supply drivers so i won't likely finish it off so i could just remove the melted connectors on that 800a2 and solder some new ones and replace the outputs on the bad channel and clean up the heat sink and i'm good to go! But i have my fingers crossed if i get it! Or i could get a nice vintage 1997 punch 200.2 grey series RF amp.

Hey dude! I got a good deal? on a pair of rockford fosgate punch xlc 12's 4 ohm but one of them the suround is ripped. it they match my 500aii amp with the end caps on the setup is truly a 1999 or 98 looking setup i just love the look of it! i paid 15 bucks for the subs with a heavy sealed mdf box. Also i found a couple punch 800's on the bay that i mayyy have a shot at? one is a 800a4 and the other is a 800a2 but the power connectors are melted :( i have a broken rf amp i can take the connectors of and replace them with? I just hope no one f*cks me over on either of these amps :(. ohh and i was reading the old archives on termpro (1999-2001) they really talk about the "A" series amps, RF DVC's, Power DVC's ect i love it! 1998-1999 good RF products, i'm all about the 98-99 RF. Yo dude, Whats the difference between the Punch 500a2 and the POWER 500a2?? Theres one on the bay that i want to get. Will this push harder than punch series? I only have one 12 kicker atm so i'm bumping anything yet because i'm waiting to get two more woofers. thanks bro!

hell ya ! i have like 2-3 of those thumps ! cool old amps , i wish my old orion T-600 worked its cool as as, ill have to fix it someday. i got tons of the odd n random amps !
