    Combat Firing with Hand Guns (1944)

    War Department Film Bulletin outlining proper procedures for aiming, firing, etc... of hand guns.

    617Ghost 617Ghost commented:

    @issenterprise1

    The 9mm is a fantastic round...when you're not shooting ball ammo. Thanks to the Geneva Convention, the 9mm gets really hamstrung. When shooting ball, yes .45 is a more effective round. However there is no miracle combat handgun. 7+1 is a far cry from 15+1 for capacity etc.

    PS: Yes, this is a pretty darn obvious fake video. But the information/practices stand. Also, any LEO knows we don't technically 'shoot to kill' but 'shoot to stop'. Fortunately to stop someone dead in their tracks often requires lethal gunshots. The end result is often the same.
