Hi, I also noticed the kit lens was soft, or maybe you set the Picture Style sharpness to 0 ?
If you use the 50mm 1.8 at f/5.6 you could get a much better image quality, so the test would show up much better the differences in quality between standard 1080p and 1080p 3X-10X mode.
If you can do it, that would be great and very much appreciated
Also, it would be GREAT if you could post captured frames of that test, so we can see the image without the Youtube recompression.
I sent you a message. I hope it can help.
Very nice and funny video test!
Especially interesting was the weather sealing test under the rain (sorry for your umbrella ;) )
It's worth to mention that you were using "L" lenses, which are "weather proof" too. That's important on the weather sealing matter (we had real life reports about that)
I personally never did such a harsh test (I protect my gear as much as possible), so it was very interesting to see yours (BTW, did your accountant notice anything? :) )
PS: For more details check our blog:

We want to know more about your case with the 24-105 f/4L IS.
Let us know please
Lol, it was just a video test to show the USB Follow Focus controller, not intended to be perfect :)
Please check the Full Description of the video (clicking on the pull down button), there are some intentional delays between some camera movements.
This is something we are investigating, since the reports of failure of this lens is more than normal.
Yes, it's a diaphragm issue. We'll post an article about this on our Blog soon.
BTW, you were lucky, the repair cost is usually about 1/3 the lens price...
Congratulations for making this video showing the issue. Sometimes people do not believe until they see "proofs".
We did something similar regarding issues occurring on firmware versions 2.0.3 and 2.0.4 on the Canon EOS 5D Mark II (obviously the issues were related to very different problems, but they were there...)
It's always good to report problems directly to companies, but also to spread the information. Indeed, it can help to speed up the fixing process...
PS: the total weight of a Canon 5D Mark II + Battery Grip + 24-70 2.8L lens is over 4lbs. The ball joint is limited in movement, but feels strong enough to support all the gear (not so sure about how strong could the gimbal made with Traxxas part be in that regard, wouldn't be good to have the gear dropping due breaking the "overloaded" gimbal..)
We only found details of the forward/back - left/right travel system very briefly in one video, is there any further pics and details?
Congratulations, beautiful flight, very nice video too, Amazing plane!!
Would be also great to shoot on 5D Mark II with such a clear view from the cockpit...
We love to flight and film from sky!!
(BTW, nice touch-and-go with a bit cross wind ;) )
Thanks for sharing
