You mentioned Sexton Blake in a message showing part of an episode which is the only surviving one not to have been wiped. I even remembered the episode you remembered. I believe it was called the "invitca ray" about a guy who could be invisable. I believe it was Tinker not Blake who was injected with poison. At the grand old age of ten I never thought that children's television could be so cruel but I loved it. Oh those were the days of good old black and white television.
