Tip stalls happen in turns, he was in a climb so I think there was a brown out between radio and plane. Also the cameraman stated he heard a rattling sound during climb so another problem might have been a bad servo. It can happen even with new equipment.

He may have dumped the elevator on the landing also. In other words letting elevator stick go too soon when plane hit the water.

For some 17 to fly like this and has only been flying for two years is remarkable. All I have to say is keep up the good flying. And as the younger generation says it "man that was just sick flying." As for my generation WOW.

Question, are you building this for rc planes or cars? And if for planes can one be built for counter rotation, meaning one engine will rotata clock wise and the other rotating counter clock wise?

Loved the video. Would like to know how long the two pilots that did the barrel rolls together were flying. That is the best flying that I have seen.
