Superb playing for a 15 year old kid! I don't like Paganini but still brilliant playing Lie Jie.

There's a much better recording of this song that I' ve heard on ABC radio. It's a WW1 recording but I don't know who sang it. The song was composed by an Australian soldier.

Fantastic playing. I heard Alirio Diaz play this at a concert in the Sydney conservatorium in 1967 I think. For me Diaz was the performer par excellence of this piece. He must be nearly ninety by now!

Amazing! I used to perform that Gavotte and it's bloomin' hard on the left hand. Segovia makes it look and sound 'like a walk in the park'. What a fantastic machine! It obviously doesn't use a half horsepower clutch motor;it is so quiet and I wish my old Singer 491 could go that slow.
