From the movie, The Last Waltz. My opinion, this was w/o a doubt the best performance of the film. Sometimes Van Morrison is phenmominal in person, other times he's a grouchy asshole. On this night it was vintage.

First album one of the Top 10, maybe even top 5. They werer mismanaged....................they could have beenone of all time greats. Maybe the best for them that they werent't. Those that saw them..........all greats!

why isn't Mark O'Connor, America's greatest fiddler/ violinist not mentioned in this video? Yo Yo Ma....exquisite. James Taylor.........classic, now. Mark O'connor deserves to be praised as much as both of these great musicians.

How have I missed this video? I saw Nils back in his Cray Horse Day, and with Bruce. I even heard play tune......................never heard a solo from him like this. Holy Crap, this is great!

I have said this so many times..the second solo in this song was one of the greatest live soloes of all time. W/o sounding like a know it all....I have heard them all. The only ones close were Peter Green and Hendrix...also SRV.

I love this song; very honest. Pierce is a talent who should have been known by many, but that wasn't the case. His stuff is great, and so is he.

I have a hard time getting past Mark Driscoll's example of Martin Luther and his "godly" anger as an example. Martin Luther was a flagrant and dangerous anti-semitic. So much so that he was quoted by many of the top leaders of Nazi Germany. Do your research, it's easy to find.

I have not listened to this in YEARS, but sat and listened to this tonight...WOW! It makes you say, " what happened to real music?" Ohhhh the memories of seeing these guys and listening to them. I feel priveleged to have seen them live and to have listened to this album when it first came out.

A great album, with a somewhat unknown Duane Allman at the time. I saw Boz many times at clubs around the Bay Area at the time until he went soft. Still one of the great albums of that era, along w/ that first Moby Grape album

I have to admit that I love this song. This is not my usual genre, but simlicity and honesty of this song is very compelling. It is honest and good music.

I saw Tim Buckley when I was about 14-15 years old w/ Char;es :LLoyd at Toledo Univ in Ohio !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. Tim Buckley asked for a ride to Ann Arbor for that night! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Great days. What can I say? I wish those day would come around again but i doubt it.

The REAL Fleetwood Mac. However the cameraman was fixated on Danny Kirwan and didnt pay attention to the really pay much attention to the truly legendary Peter Green.

I think way too much has been made of this video. Two dfferent styles...neither of them thought they were better than the other one. I wonder why people have to constantly contine this stupidity, and yes I saw both of them many times. This whole argument is uneecessary, and they would both agree.
