This song just rolls. There is something almost primal about the instrumental and Lalah just kills with her vocal. I love the interplay between the vocal and sax. Why isn't this woman more well known? If you want to hear a version of this song with a bigger instrumental check out Michael Buble' ....

Excellent! I didn't expect to like a male singer on this song but Michael does a great job. It didn't hurt that the orchestration was outstanding. Another version of this song that I like real well is the one by Joe Sample and Laylah Hathaway though theirs is more understated instrumentally.

Very talented lady, wonderful voice. I'm probably being a bit anal here but she didn't start with rap. She came onto the music scene singing rap but in truth, like so many black performers, she got her start singing in church.

I have agree with many of the comments listed here. She put way to much strength into her performance. This song should be done with delicacy and emotion. It's one of the most beautiful jazz standard ever recorded. CS reminded me of a bulldozer rumbling through a garden

Love this album, I think Dio is one of the best voices in rock and his contribution on this track is superb.

Brings back memories, I used to have this album and loved side two. My pastor at the time though christian rock was sinful.
