Niko is our original schnauzer. He was purchased in 2000 at 10 weeks old from a breeder. He was a Valentine's present to ourselves. He's our precious-perfect little boy & spoiled rotten! Who says you can't buy love?

In 2005, we joined a schnauzer rescue group hoping to help with the over-whelming need to give thrown-away & rejected schnauzers another chance at life. Through this organization we've met many wonderful schnauzers that end up in the rescue for no apparent reason.

We fostered & adopted Maggie in 2005. Be sure to watch her tribute!

In November 2007, I found Dory on Petfinder in a kill shelter 30 minutes away. She was a stray and estimated to be about 6-9 months old at the time. Lucky for us, her former owners must have been idiots & completey unprepared to own a puppy! She's the best little doggy ever & so much fun!
