@SansP3ur The DWS machines produce photo-polymer resin models. They are similar to PVC in flexibility, they can be filed but will leave a little bit of “fur” that can be cleaned alcohol.

@HaylinOka Hi, You can use nearly any kind of steel hammer. Just be sure it has a nice smooth and polished face on it. It would be best if the face was slightly rounded and not completely flat. Ball been hammers work great too, there again a nicely polished face is recommended. Hope this helps.

For our 3 lbs. tumblers we recommend 3 lbs. of steel shot. The key is to have the barrel ½ to ¾ full of steel shot . Less than that can damage the jewelry. If less than ½ full the shot will travel up the sides of the tumbler and then crash onto the jewelry.

You can use nearly any type of flat faced steel hammer. You do want to make sure that the face of the hammer is nicely polished, otherwise the hammer will leave a texture…which actually could be nice too. I hope this helps. Thank you

@stevo12369 Hi, gold and silver are not the only metals. You can also plate other common jewelry metals such as, platinum, copper, brass, bronze, nickel, alpaca, pewter and stainless steel. Metals that can’t be plated include aluminum, titanium and niobium.
