Great song. One of my favorites by the Dicks. Incredible how they take the emotion of a blues traditional and blend it with their rough edged sound to make this gem. Take a listen to their live version of it recorded on the "Live at Raul's" album in 1981. It really punches ya right inthe gut.

I believe this track was recorded for the live album "Live at Raul's" (1981?) and the album was shared with The Dicks. Honestly hard for me to pick my favorite Big Boys song from that album, all so good. Thanks very much for posting this. Great song.

Nouvelle Vague- Diet punk rock. Leaves me wanting something substantial.

This place looks like a joint down on State Street in New Haven,Connecticut. Or maybe I'd had too many at that joint too often. If it is that place, yes, the acoustics are tough to manage there, but if anyone knows how to get the most out of a small bar, it would be the blasters.
