The 4 Ugly Daughters had a very difficult childhood. At the tender age of 16 all of them were already totally traumatized, which left them a bit under developed especially in the right half of the brain. Tortured by their own images, they escaped into showbiz hoping that at least their creative expression would be excepted and not ridiculed. The following years they gathered a lot of experience and were influenced by bands like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Beatles, Black Crows, Foo Fighters and of course the Spice Girls! just to name a few. When the time came to pass, that Girl-Bands ruled the world, the Daughters were forced to look truth in eye: They were ugly and couldnt dance to save their lives! With help of modern technology and plastic surgery they decided to become MEN! Since they have always been rather manly girls (hairy especially!) it didnt change their appearance all that much. Their untamable energy in combination with technical skill turn their live show into an unforgettable experience.

Between Christmas and Newyears 2005 the Daughters decided to finally record an album they way they wanted it to sound just 4 musicians and a studio! The selftitled Album 4 Ugly Daughters is an expression of who the sisters are lyrically a bit more serious than this biography. If you really need to find a name for their stile it would probably be Funk-Rock! Why always try to fit in, when Rock in itself can be so beautful?
