Established in 1997 by D. Richardson (AKA Goldenchild) Metropoliz Media as a music television and video promotions company. Born on the campus of Howard University in Washington D.C., Metropoliz started as a promotions company and expanded into music production. Continued expansion has led Metropoliz into the realm of television and video production as well and currently employs six talented individuals. Metropoliz Media also collaborates with several other production companies in New York City, as well as across the country.
Metropoliz Media has currently shifted its focus offering Event Management services that includes but limited to Audio/Video, Event Photography, Live Music Production and Media Consulting whose works can be viewed all over YouTube.com. Some of our current projects include:

The Chosen, was born from the commitment of individual musicians with a passion for music. As The CHOSEN, we combined our love for Hip Hop, Classic Soul/Funk and Reggae creating a sound undeniably our own drawing new members to our movement. Having a sound that defined us, The Chosen has been rocking together for two years in clubs, bars and lounges all over New York City, the US, Caribbean and Europe. We are currently working on recording our first live album and continuing to work to further expand our sound, fanbase and grow as musicians.
The World of Oraje Natural Beauty Universe which showcases Natural Hair Art by Beauty Shamanic Chemartist "Oraje". He is known for his 3D Hair Art Productions that rival Cirque De Soleil.
