If you want some great information on the POW issue, read "An Enormous Crime" by Rep. Hinton. It has a ton of info on what really happened at the end of the war and how an agreement was made by President Nixon and Henry Kissinger to pay the Vietnamese rebuilding funds for the return of the rest of the POW's. They were never able to get the appropriations passed because of watergate. Ergo, the POWs slowly died there. The sattillite info in the 80's was suppressed because it would open a whole new can of worms for the administrations that were in power.

His fellow POWs nicknamed him "songbird" for a reason: he did more than 30 taped interviews which were aired by the Vietcong in exchange for special treatment. In these interviews he told the story how the US Airforce intentionally bombed hospitals, orphanages, schools to inflict civilian casualties.
In McCain's own words just 4 days after being captured, he admits he violated the US Code of Conduct by telling his captors "OK, I'll give you military information if you will take me to the hospital."
A Vietnam vet detractor says, "He received the nation's third highest award, the Silver Star, for treason. He provided aid and comfort to the enemy!"

Does anyone know where to get more information on the POW/MIA issue in Vietnam? I'm thinking about doing a documentary on it for my senior year thesis.
I just watched this video, and others, of John McCain and his approach towards the POW/MIA issue. He is an American traitor and has personally prevented the homecoming of hundreds of abandoned POW's in Southeast Asia. McCain is a full time advocate for the biggest cover-up in U.S. history.
..and how does America repay him? By giving him a presidential nomination and possibly it's candidacy. Shit runs deep in Washington politics, and we don't even know the half of it.
