1. LATIN JAZZ DANCE! Great class to complement your salsa, cha cha, rhumba, contemporary, hiphop training. Every Friday at 7-8pm, King Street Arts Center. This class is open for anyone and everyone from ages 12 to 92. No experience needed.
Tuition fee is only $150.00 for ten (10) hours of lessons. Email Ms. PARA ISIDRO at para.dance@yahoo.com to register your interest.

2. POWERMOVES! ADVANCED JAZZ/CONTEMPORARY/SHOWDANCE classes: Every Friday at 8-9pm. This class is only for the advanced and professional dancers or for those who have a very high fitness level. For ages 12-92 years of age.

Para Isidro was born in Manila, Philippines and started dancing at age of six months doing pirouettes from one end of the crib to the other. A week after her parents took her to see her first ballet dance concert at the age of 10 she enrolled at The New Manila Ballet Center. From that day on she hasn't stopped sharing the joys of dance through her performances, choreography and teaching. At the age of 12 Para choreographed her first ballet pieces and embarked on her first tour performing these dances with her famous composer aunt. Para fell in love with jazz dance at age 12 and soon afterwards started performing professionally in the movies and on the stage. At the age of 18, she became a founding member of the Philippines' premiere jazz and contemporary dance company, now called Douglas Nierras Powerdance. She also performed her own dance company, Lines Dance Company, whilst running and owning her first dance studio. Studying in New York and Los Angeles has been an integral part of Para's career development and moved her to constantly strive to excellence in all her work and help raise the standards of dance wherever she may be. In 2000/2001, she was awarded the position of dance captain for the Philippine and Asia production of Cameron Mackintosh's musical Miss Saigon.

Para wrote and produced her first international musical entitled "Have I Told You Today That I Love You", which premiered in the Philippines in 2003. One of Para's greatest joys is teaching dance, especially to children.

In 2006-2007, Para managed her own performing arts school INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL FOR PERFORMANCE IN LIVE AND FILM ENTERTAINMENT in Bangkok, Thailand before moving to Perth, Western Australia last June 2008.

In Australia, Para continues to share her passion and skill in dance in special dance training and workshops. Para also teaches "Managing Movement" at the Film and Television Institute for its 30-week Diploma Of Screen Acting Program.

Para just recently staged her own performance, choreography in Valentine In November dance concert in New York City in the USA. She conceptualized, produced and directed the show.

She lives with her beautiful and talented 16 year old daughter.

Para has recently moved to Perth, Australia and founded PARADANCE. PARADANCE is created with the mission to share the extraordinary power of dance and movement through dance workshops, training, performances, choreography, and creating special events and dance programs for everyone!
