The manual suggests this practice, and it is not a bad idea. However, if you can plug your exhaust pipe, and flow some compressed air over your electrical parts, you should be able to limit water damage. I don't know about you but my neighbors would be annoyed by weekly bike starts. JMHO

I would true the wheel as shown in the video, then check the spokes by tapping them with the spoke wrench. They should make a light “tum” sound. If they make a dull “thud” sound that spoke might be loose and should be tightened. Be careful not to tighten so far as to pull the wheel out of true. W...
