God I miss Johnny Carson. He was and will always be the best. He never wavered in all his years and was as wonderful and gracious with A list celebrities as he was with Myrtle here. His mid western charm made him irreplaceable.

@whoo689 He had a Springer type talk show in the early 90s well before this. You might be too young to remember it. It's embarrassing they even had him on the show.

@cavealieniv Meaning the game show & soap operas had one main purpose which was to provide fluffy entertainment to bored stay at home housewives, which there was still a large contingent of in the 1970s. Those shows weren't meant for nor were they viewed by the mass public.
