Excellent video, really enjoyed watching. You have got one of the opening scenes mixed though, your film shows the tunnel which is shot 5 of the mountain drive. You blend this then with shot 7 the very last one before we see the hotel. But don't listen to me, I've watched this film 1000's of time...

Crazyhelidude is wrong. The road in the opening of The Shining is "Glacier Route 1" or "Going to the Sun" road, in Glacier National Park in Montana. The lake is Saint Mary and the island is called "Wild Goose"
