I just can't believe you replaced a 5A fuse with 13A. Not even remotely surprised it destroyed everything. Pretty annoying to lose hardware, but sometimes you make a decision that really bites you in the arse.

@42hiker Actually, can't see your feet but they actually look okay, for how wide they are. But definitely point them out more. This is the reason your knees keep coming in and reducing your base stability.

@dombower Though there might actually be a bigger risk with a mixed grip. If you're not concentrating, you may end up trying to curl the weight slightly with your palm-up hand and this is when the tear might happen.

I really do find it hard to believe you can shoot 200mm at 1/15th and slower hand held (I'm a Nikon shooter with the 70-200 VR1). It's just not happening, as awesome as the VRII is.

BTW, as for the Galaxy S2 charger, that's 0.7A and the Kindle takes 450mA, so be a bit careful there. Plugged my Dad's into my S2 charger and though it was working, not sure I'd do it long term.
