Well, this is really more of an explanation for our name. We based our name on the old book series "The Three Investigators," and then modified it for a hobby of ours. We take songs we really like and do a one-take video for it, casting ourselves as the band members. We "impersonate" the band by trying to duplicate the original music videos as best we can (crazy outfits as Cheap Trick's Rick Neilsen, eyeliner beard for Jeff Lynne of ELO, toilet paper and a breeze for The Police's "Synchronicity II," etc.). Unfortunately, I am reluctant to upload any of these videos, as I have now gotten two warning about copyrights for music. So don't expect to see our videos ever uploaded; I'm just explaining our rather odd username.

We are three sisters who are totally retro. We don't text, and prefer fringe and leather to American Eagle. All of us are into 70s/80s music, from mainstream progressive to glam metal. In addition to old music and styles, we have a huge collection of old TV shows that we just love, including "The Greatest American Hero," "Simon & Simon," and "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman." We're happy to connect with anybody who likes some of the same stuff (and if they're other kids, so much the better! But really, we get along fine with adults too).
