@jkirbster My Senegal is like that too.. talks like crazy when I'm not in the room but will at times talk when I'm around and answer questions as well.

Sengals are a wonderful parrot to own if you have the time to devote to them.. Mine is 17 yrs old now and still acts like a 2 yr old but that is typical of the species..

Shame on the zoo, elephants are herd animals and no human can replace her need for her own kind. No protected contact and use of a bull hook is disgusting, not to mention lack of concern for the audience within her enclosure.

Toronto Zoo and the city of Toronto has now agreed to send the elephants to PAWS and Bob Barker is paying for their move. I wish Lucy could join them at PAWS. As a Canadian I'm appalled by our zoos thinking that elephants in Canada is alright. Elephants need to be in groups not kept singularly no...

why does Munich zoo still allow the use of bull hooks and not use protected contact for their animals and keepers.. I hope that there is an outdoor area where the elephants can go so they aren't always on concrete which is not good for their feet nor joints

@gowildlife not only small but cement floors throughout what is visible.. not good for elephants' feet over time

so instead of relocating them to a remote locaiton and allowing them to remain wild they decided to put them in a zoo.not good. Not surprising they fight.. they are males and in the wild they wouldn't be with another male once they were full grown..

unfortunately the child is too small and won't remember this ..

@MissAlyy88 Male lions hunt if they don't have a pride of their own or will join the lionesses if the prey is very large such as the giraffe, though most times lions won't try to bring down an adult giraffe due to the potential to be killed by their hooves.

@arizonatsunami I agree with you. if this is a zoo, there should never be human contact with any of the predatory animals. Guess some zoos haven't heard of protected contact regulations yet..

you never feed any zoo animal anything due to the fact you never know what disease the food may carry and animals in zoos don't have the same immune system that a wild animal would have. I hope you got caught as you could be endangering the zoo animals life with your stupid prank.
