I'm a restriction enzyme which cuts DNA at a palindromic sequence of NNCCWGGNN where "N" is any DNA "letter" and "W" is an A or a T.A digestion with EcoRII will produce "sticky ends" meaning the DNA strand, cut in two, will produce two smaller ones with overhangs. I am sometimes useful in biotechnology, when DNA needs to be cut at a specific site to prepare it for some reaction/analysis.
In real life, I'm a college student whose main method of procrastination is watching YouTube videos and spending hours upon hours on NCBI (I just find the molecular biology/biotechnology stuff very interesting). I will "favorite" the videos/channels I find to be the coolest or relevant to the classes I am taking, and leave the other ones alone.
Lyse this. This is not the krebs/citric acid cycle and does not help me study for the final. Go to the lysosome!
