I wonder why if the objective of a video is to SHOW a process, why you guys in 3M decide to dedicate 30 percent of the screen to the actual video. Is this the best you can do. It is embarrassed that a company that make so much money create videos so poorly.

Thanks for your comments! As with any two part product you must equalize a new cartridge. In doing this you extrude approximately 1 ounce of body filler. The industry average per purchased cartridge is $12-15. The Mixing tip has approximately 1/10th of an ounce of wasted material when cured. Five cartridges equal one USABLE gallon of body filler. On average 60% of a gallon of body filler is wasted due to what is left inside the can, on the mix boards or over mixed, never applied to the RO, and thrown away. One of our 3M sales representatives would be happy to meet with you if you are interested. Let us know.

It looks like a pretty slick system for application but I would have the same concern as another commenter. There could end up being a lot of waste. I co not know how much a tube costs but the decision on using this system would be very dependent of cost of material. Thanks for the video that demonstrates how the system works.

What they dont show is the 10% you loose waiting for the tube to start mixing correctly. If you are ok with paying about $100 a gallon for filler this is your tool. We used it for about 6 months and found it was not the best way to go. Think about the waste with the mixing tips, the plastic cartridges. Take 5 or 6 to make up the volume of a gallon can. This is from experience.
