History from a Christians perspective. Fascination with Creation and the End Times, especially the books in God's word of Genesis, Exodus, Daniel, 1-2 Peter, and Revelation. Drawn to archeology and discovery in comparison to God's word. Captivated with astronomy and the study of the universe. Huge fan of Answers in Genesis and the inspiring ministry of Dr. Jimmy DeYoung. Most importantly, I strive to serve the Lord in everything I do! I am not perfect, but I do serve a God that is! My life given to Jesus and my sins bore on the cross, I live as a new person with God's promise of eternal life. I have been given the greatest gift of all, one I cannot repay and am not expected to. I owe everything to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I am honored to be His. I also have been called to serve as a Deacon at my Church and through prayer and help from the Lord's guidance, strength, and wisdom I will do my best to serve Him and my Church. Oh yeah, as you can see by my profile videos, I Have somewhat of a weakness for cars too :) As much as I may be intrigued with them, I am careful to not let them interfere with my walk with God. God is first over all things, least importantly of all are the earthly things. Be very careful who or what you put first in your life because it may very well become your God. As for me, I serve the Lord!

THE BIBLE! The source of answers to all questions past, present, and future. The Bible is an extremely valuable asset given to man by God to help us understand not only the things of the earth and its existence, but what is expected of us and how we should live our lives. The Bible is truth, and truth leads to knowledge. Wisdom is the key to knowledge but knowledge is not necessarily the key to wisdom as some may think. The wisdom and understanding of God and His Holy Word are the beginning of knowledge; this is the wisdom that man should seek. Proverbs 1:7 says it best "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction". God created man and woman and gave them the ability to choose for themselves. Ultimately, mans poor decision to allowed sin into the world; first through Adam and Eves sin, was a mistake. As a result we had/have a barrier between us and God and it is sin. God is perfect, and now that man has sinned, we are no longer. There is no imperfection in Heaven, so their can be no imperfect person in Heaven. What, then, is the solution to this dilemma? This is the good part, there is a solution (or gift) given to us by God, and it is His Son Jesus! All we must do is first acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God, except this wonderful gift that God has given us, and admit that we are sinners and must be forgiven (made pure) in order to reunite with our Lord and Savior. Really, God made this simple, we only have to except His gift, His Son! Your life will change, your desires will be for God. With Jesus truly living in your hearts, your hearts will ache if you sin against Him. Understand that we will still sin even after we except Jesus because we are still not perfect. As long as we are on this earth, we cannot escape sin. When we sin as a Christian, we are physically and emotionally hurt because Jesus who is now part of us is hurt by that sin. Jesus takes this sin from us and purifies us. Our desire to sin will fade but never vanish, only because we are the Lords do we understand the pain that sin can inflict on us and others. Know that an unsaved person does not feel the same conviction as a saved person. However, saved or unsaved, there are consequences to sin. Such as hurt feelings because of a lie, a cold and hungry man because we denied him access into our home, a hurt testimony due to profanity, making Gods temple (your body) unclean through un-married sexual actions with others, damaged relationships due to a poisoned mind filled with images of pornography, broken families due to unfaithfulness to a loved one, and so on. For these reasons and many others, avoid sin and seek the Lord for He will not forsake you or mislead you. God will punish sin especially for those who have Jesus living in them, for these are without excuse; but not because God is mean or vengeful but because sin keeps us apart from Him! He cares for us much like a mother cares for her child. God, however, cares for us much more than our earthly mothers ever could because God is Love itself; and in order to keep Christians on the path of righteousness He disciplines those who wander off into sin so that they do not stray. When God looks at us (Christians), he sees His Son. His intentions are to keep us close to Him because we are His that He has made and loves. Do we not keep those who we love close? Does a sheppard not tend his flock with a close watch? God is our sheppard and does not want even one of us to go astray! God wants us to follow Him by accepting His gift to us, Jesus, so we can be with Him in Heaven for all eternity. We must make the choice, God cannot make it for us. God is perfection and only through his perfect Son Jesus can we be with Him in Heaven for all eternity when we pass away. Through mans choice to sin, we were corrupted and separated from God, but God gave His son to us to take the burden of our sins if we allow Him; giving us an opportunity to reunite with Him. It is ONLY through His Son Jesus that we have this opportunity. Jesus is a gift to us from God, we only have to except Him. Salvation is only a willing heart away. How awesome a God we serve that He cares for His people to have given His son to us on the cross to die for our sins so that we may be in Heaven with Him forever! Praise God!
