Ehem... That's Neo Swing. True "swing" was recorded between 1934-1947. Big Bad VooDoo Daddy helped kick an interest in dancing in the 1990s, but there were also bands that played it truer to it's original style such as Bill Elliot's Swing Orchestra, Dean Mora and Johnny Crawford.

I can see where a laugh can be derived from this clip, however if you value your "vintage refrigerator" you may choose a more practical method of defrosting. I own a 1935 GE monitor top, they require defrosting about once a month, not weekly... unless your door seal is so bad that it allows that ...

That's a "globe top" 1934 or 35 GE monitor Top. That model was the economy size, didn't offer a temp control on it like standard models.
