I have had a revolver jam 1 time in all my years of shooting. What it came down to was cheap ammo. The primer was not seated properly so that after the round went off the cylinders would not revolve. I had to get my knife out and push the primer in really hard just to get the cylinder to open....

Hey, way to go! I repainted mine too with base and clear. I had a little orange peal so I wet sanded with 1000 grit the took the buffer with buffing compound, polish then wax now looks good. Got to love clear coat.
