Of course King James din't write the Bible , it was written during his reign. Jesus lived a sinless life granted but was tempted by Satan to give up his mission. Thank God he didn't otherwise no of us would be here.

Good grief, even when I wasn't a Christian I regonised that the Bible employs all sorts of literary devices to make a point. And this is one of them, it's called hyperbole, and the author is exaggerating so as to hit home his point that this wasn't all that Jesus did in his life. Of course others...
