As I Lay Dying = A band that can exist without a bass player. Sadly, it seems that a lot of metal/hardcore/metalcore bands are following suit. This cover was decent though. I liked the continuation after the pick drop.

@Machi357 Eh. Just copying the lead guitar doesn't seem like "awesome" bass lines - in my opinion. As I've said before, they're great musicians (and that's why I love them), but it's just hard to put actual bass lines to their style of music unfortunately.

Music wise, it sounded alright...The vocals are a little off (in terms of timing and being pretty monotone).

Two things: one, Nickleback has the easiest music you will ever hear (in terms of playing it). This song is a prime example of how simplistic their junk it. I wish this guy was covering Alex from Saosin. Two, that being said, the drummer did a decent job of covering the song (simplistic or not). ...

Despite the fact that I love Thrice as people and as musicians (up until the Alchemy Index), they gave me an awful show when they came to London for the Taste of Chaos tour. For such a great band, they put on such a poor performance...but I'll let it slide.
