*Compilation of many short films/concerts for the purpose of making a music video (none of this was filmed/directed by me).
I tried to capture the essence of Saturday nights at 16. It's not what you do; it's who you do it with. The 'talk' is always where you're going and what you're doing, but that isn't the point. Concerts/shows are, to put it in philosophical terms, the means, not the end. They exist to provide a reason to get together. What happens when you do get together is, among other things, drama, fights, packed car rides, excitement, flirting, hooking up, dancing, regret, mistakes, hanging out, etc. These things seem so important at the time. It's not like you don't want to experience the rest of your life, but there is something about youth that is irreplaceable. Everyone grows up and changes. You can't go back, hence the desire "stay with me, we'll never grow up."
