Third track of the last Samhain album "Final Descent", released in 1990 on Plan 9/Caroline Records. "Final Descent" was planned to be released as "Samhain Grim" in 1988, but it never happened. This song was written and recorded in 1990 with the Danzig line-up, during the Lucifuge-sessions, so this song was never a Samhain song, but they included it anyway.

This is my favorite track from Eerie's solo album "The Blood and the Body" released in 1998. His stuff is very dark and simple, but great, I really like his music. Eerie was the photographer of the Misfits and bassist of Samhain and Danzig (until 1995). He released an album with Mike Morance (Uneasy Listening), solo albums (The Blood and the Body / Bad Dream Number 13 / Kinda Country) and one as Eerie Von's Spider Cider (That' All There Is). If you like this track you should check out "The Blood and the Body" and "Bad Dream No. 13".
All images are from www.7thhouse.com. All pictures were shot, while Eerie was in Samhain.
/edit: Sorry narradorekecuenta, I planed to upload this video for about 2 or 3 months but never got around to do it and when I last searched for a video to the song, there was nothing uploaded. Sorry!
Lyrics: Unborn, a fresh young gurl Frail with the weight of the world Already bent at the beauty of the night Sent from heaven, unwanted on earth She brings her blessing wrapped in a curse She was sent from heaven to be unwanted on earth
Her heart pounds its terrible rhythm One second of peace, she ain't gonna give them
Her wheel of misfortune spins round again She's on you like the sun on the sound Her wheel of misfortune spins your way again
Deep in her darkness lies her greatest fear Beneath her ivory snow veneer She promises to take you away from here Beneather he ivory snow veneer Lies her greatest fear Deep in her darkness she can take you away from here
Her beauty burned right through my soul Thought I would breathe once more The search had ended there and now I'd be reborn Like a pleasure ride through Woman Fair I fell without a care She promised me sanctuary But I found no salvation there (from MisfitsCentral.com)

Back on the net after 6 months.
I first uploaded this video as "Glenn Danzig - Spook City USA" thinking it would be the version of the "Who Killed Marilyn?" single recorded by Glenn alone, but this is the Misfits version. It's on the The Misfits Box Set. It was recorded 1979 at The Song Shop but was not released until 1996 with the release of the Box Set. I've now uploaded the whole Danzig single. All Images from www.misfitscentral.com www.onethirtyeight.com www.the7thhouse.com and from myself.

Lyrics:
Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Whoo... whoo... whoo... Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo
And the days go by... Like a strand in the wind... In the web that is my own... I begin again Said to my friend, baby... Nothin' else mattered
He was no more... than a baby then Well he... seemed broken hearted... Something within him But the moment... that I first laid... Eyes... on... him... all alone... On the edge of... seventeen
Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... ooo baby... ooo... said ooo... Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo
I went today... maybe I will go again... Tomorrow And the music there it was hauntingly... Familiar And I see you doing... What I try to do for me With the words from a poet... And the voice from a choir And a melody... nothing else mattered
Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... ooo baby... ooo... said ooo Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo
The clouds... never expect it... When it rains But the sea changes colours... But the sea... Does not change And so... with the slow... graceful flow... Of age I went forth... with an age old... Desire... to please On the edge of... seventeen
Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo
Well then suddenly... There was no one... left standing In the hall... yeah yeah... In a flood of tears That no one really ever heard fall at all Oh I went searchin' for an answer... Up the stairs... and down the hall Not to find an answer... Just to hear the call Of a nightbird... singing... Come away... come away...
Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song Sounds like she's singing... Ooo... baby ooo... said ooo Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Ooo... baby ooo... said ooo
Well I hear you in the morning... And I hear you... At nightfall... Sometime to be near you... Is to be unable... to hear you... My love... I'm a few years older than you...
Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo
