Matt Joyce is a young singer/songwriter from Swansea who not only plays guitar but is a keen drummer too. After making connections with the Swansea Songwriters Guild through the late Tunetown Magazine, Matt started playing at open mics in his local area and became a regular at venues such as Milkwood Jam and The New York. Singing classics such as Soft Cells Tainted Love, Ray Charless Hit The Road Jack and more recent hits like Stronger by Kanye West, Matt was an instant hit on the local music scene and gained a lot of interest very quickly. As the gig offers started rolling in Matt not only began performing solo as Matt Joyce but also as the front man of The Unknowns and the guitarist of Ragged School. Matt has also begun recording some of his own material, adding a twist to the alternative/acoustic sound of his earlier days.
