I guess it's about time to update my profile. I've been on YouTube about 3 years now and I still can't edit a video to save my life. Someday I hope to learn that skill.

I set this up to mainly be a channel about my birds. There are a few other mixed videos in here though.

Since I've started video taping we've added one bird to the nest. His name was Sugar when we adopted him but we changed his name to Max. Max is our Umbrella Cockatoo and he has some anger issues. He had his chest plucked pretty badly when we first got him but he doesn't do that anymore!!! We are pretty excited that he stopped doing that to himself. Plucking is such a hard habit for these guys to break and we didn't really think he'd stop but he did and we feel very lucky that he has found other things to do with his time. Max is about 17-18 years old.

Phoenix is our African Grey and we just recently found out he's a boy! We've been referring to him as "her" for most of his 4 years of life so this is a tough change for us. Phoenix is a real character and has us laughing most of the day. He's also a video hog and loves to land on the camera when it's on. He's pretty much the center of attention all day long because he demands it, lol.

Starburst is one of our Sun Conures that we also got as an older bird. We don't know his age but he has anger issues too. Apparently he and Max were abused and they have problems with trusting people. Starburst likes to fly after people and BITE them hard. He absolutely adores my daughter and will protect her like a dog protects his master! Starburst and I get along well when nobody else is around but that's the only time. Starburst has serious plucking issues and we can't get him to stop. We've had him about 5 years now and he will go through stages where he'll get a few feathers and then pluck them all out again.

Skittles is my little baby and the most loving bird you'd ever know! She's also a Sun Conure and she's 6 years old. Starburst has plucked her just horribly and even though they haven't been allowed together in about a year, Skittles still hasn't gotten her feathers back that Starburst plucked out of her. It would appear that he damaged her beyond repair and that makes me very angry at myself for not stopping it sooner.
