In 1990 I was told that I would never do

more than blink after a car accident left me

unable to walk. After 8 months of physical

therapy I was released from the hospital and

had to rent a room from someone I met while

in the hospital. A year later I was in my


own apartment and back in college. I

finished school and gave birth to my second

son a year later. In 1998 I was married

again and stepmother to 3 more children

now.I gave back my subsidized apartment and

moved into my own home with my family,I got

baptized as one of Jehovahs witnesses but I

still wasn't quite happy so I quit working

outside our home. I worked a work at home

job for 3 years until I got sick of how

litle I was earning. I homeschool our son so


his father and I could raise him and not the

school system. I decided in 2005 to stop all

medications and give back my benefits to the

government. Live your life your way, out

loud. Take control and never live with

regrets or other peoples programming. I

found a treatment online last year that will

allow me to walk. My insurance would not

cover it but did I let that stop me?
