Cooking, reading, art, listening to music, talking to friends and impromptu dinner parties.
Movies:
Really, too many movies over the years to list one by one. I love the old classics and many of the new releases as well. I usually prefer a good comedy, and of course 'girly' movies, but a good thriller will grab my attention as well. I don't watch a lot of TV, except the movie channels. I like the Food Network shows sometimes,at least the good ones that feature REAL cooking. I also love shows like Law and Order, and enjoy some of the *medical* shows as well. (ER, House, etc.)
Music:
I love, love, LOVE music. It's almost always playing in the background. I have very *eclectic* taste, everything from classical to jazz, to opera to country, to hard rock to pop. I'm not crazy about MOST rap, but there are exceptions to every rule.
Books:
Again, there are too many to list. I read at LEAST one book a week, sometimes more. The genres I prefer are Fantasy and Sci-Fi, mysteries, humour, and 'slice of life' stories. I love many authors, from Steven King to Toni Morrison. I read cookbooks like novels. My Amazon *wish list* is a mile long. (Friends and family know where to go for my birthday and Christmas)
