@jbatacan2 Nice observation, but I believe the main reason is so the players at their level can just focus on the unit models themselves without being distracted or mislead by the auras or added characteristics of the units.

@dbrddr You take the time the learn the parts and play them pretty damn close to perfect. You have a great talent. I hope you don't regret your choice not to experience drum corps later in life.

I don't like the direction they took this game. It's too TeamFortress like. The original was more realistic and not just purely shoot em up. The 40th day looks stupid.

@Spanky5570 I completely disagree, Dynasty is the absolute worst playing wise. Their tubas and euphoniums are extremely airy sounding. Yamaha gives you the best sound on both concert low brass and marching. I think most people will tell you the same.

@TubaFr3aK It's not too hard to just figure it out by ear yourself. I put together arrangements for Wonder Pets, Crazy 8's, Ranger Hook, Tank, and so forth. All fanfares revolve around pretty much the same notes. More fun learning it by ear anyways

I've never heard anyone say anything bad about Phantom's hornline. Which is also my favorite. I watched the Carolina MMX Tuning thing, and I thought it was pretty crazy (good thing). But i felt alot of the line was just pushing too much, and edging out. But i do respect the power. Both are amazing.

@AtticusMcnasty Some don't consider a Contra a marching tuba, Its just a way to differentiate what key. A "Marching Tuba" is in BBb normally, but a Contra is pitched in G.

@thesousabone See you don't understand whats it's about. This isn't a test to see who can play with the cleanest tone. Its just raw power. Its supposed to entertain the crowd. Having an orchestra play in that gym won't get the crowd excited.
