I just started watching this on disovery turbo yesterday, absolutely brilliant to know that British bikes, and the sixties scene are big in the USA.

Great compilation, just can't beat Cavan and the Rhythm rockers, it's ace!

I can't believe some of the comments being posted here. Camden town in the 80's was great for rockabilly (and some of the pubs on the way).

I missed this by a few years, but I was always a rockabilly rebel during the 80's & 90's, my first serious girlfriend was a punk rocker, some of my best mates were Teds. The early 80's press were full of bank holiday mayhem between skinheads, rockabillys, punks mods & rockers, and I'm sure new ro...

It's blinkin' hard to get the DA right, I have respect for anyone who tries, living in the UK I use the Dax wax range, red and blue to get it plausible, buut my hair is a bit too fine.

I like Joe Brown, my mum met him once down the 2"I"s back in 1958. Over the last few years he has been on TV, talking about his time with Eddie Cochran and how Johnny Cash inadvertantly got him fired. Great song about the Teds.

I got this DVD at HMV about eight years ago, still great, Carl, Eric, George, Roseann, Slim JIm McDonell, Lee Rocker and Dave Edmunds. Brilliant!

This show is just the best, watching the current season every week on 5USA.

I think it's great that young people can discover early rock 'n' roll through a video game like "mafia II" It can only enrich your life, it certainly has mine since I first heard Blue suede shoes by Carl Perkins, when I was nine back in 1977.

Gene's always been my hero. B-I-Bickey-Bi, Bo-Bo-Go is a classic, and a prime example of the raw, youthful feel of 1950's rock 'n' roll.
